About the course
The Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) programme is designed to develop the knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies required to succeed in today's dynamic business environment.
The programme provides a comprehensive foundation across management, accounting, economics, marketing, finance, human resource management, operations and strategy, while introducing students to contemporary areas including digital business, business analytics, innovation and artificial intelligence.
Students develop essential capabilities in communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making, supported by practical learning through case studies, projects, presentations, research and industry-related activities.
The programme progresses from fundamental business concepts to advanced strategic and analytical study, culminating in an internship and business dissertation.

Entry Requirements
GCE Advanced Level - Sri Lanka: Minimum of three (3) ordinary 'S' passes at the GCE Advanced Level Examination conducted by the Department of Education, Sri Lanka.
OR - Foreign Qualifications
- GCE A/L Examination conducted by Pearson Edexcel, UK
- International GCSE Examination conducted by Pearson Edexcel, UK
- GCE A/L Examination conducted by Cambridge International Examinations, UK
Candidates issued one of the above certificates for Advanced Level should have obtained three ordinary 'E' passes.
Foreign students who obtain three ordinary passes in another examination equivalent to GCE Advanced Level may also be considered, subject to submission of examination transcripts and evaluation by the BSC Admission Committee.
